NOTES ON LIFE; Don't be a victim !

Notes on life.

As someone who has grown up in this super sensitive generation I can’t help but to wonder why my generation is so sensitive and why we are so quick to accept defeat. We are so dependent on others it just might be our downfall. In the media, and in my personal experiences, I have found that no one is willing to do the hard work to make life better for them selves. We are always looking for the easy way out and wanting someone else to do the work for us. We never want to go solo and try to figure life out for ourselves. We are not willing to put in hard work to see results. I feel like we have all been babied throughout the entirety of our lives, and we never had the chance to experience a sense of real struggle. Not to mention the educational system did not prepare us for the harsh dog eat dog world. We are forced to grow up in a matter of months after high school, and many young people can’t handle it. I don’t always agree with my parents’ generation but one thing I can admire is that they understand a struggle; life was not always easy. They had to work hard and provide so much. Parents didn’t have time to cry every time something went wrong. They expressed their feelings, collected themselves, and moved forward. I believe the time of officially entering adulthood is the time that separates the weak from the strong. It shows who is serious about making the most out of there life. There are going to be tons of disappointments in ones life and it’s up to you to find ways through these obstacles, that life has presented. You should never rely on anyone 100% to make your problems go away. That’s not fair to them and you are not doing yourself a favor by letting others fight your battles. If you claim to want success work for it. If you say it’s to hard and you could not achieve it; then I guess you didn’t want it that bad. There have been plenty of times where I have had set backs that have kept me from reaching my goals. However, deep down I know that I am destined for greatness so I refuse to let anything discourage me from reaching my goals. I’m still going through hard times as I write this very post, but still, I wake up everyday and put on a smile because I know in the end it’ll be worth the struggles. It’s definitely okay to cry to your family and friends and be sad because that’s what family and friends are for, however don’t relish in sadness for too long , you don’t want to become a victim! learn from the disappointment and continue to grown as an individual. The worst thing you can do is give up. I believe that things do happen for a reason, but I also believe sometimes things happen just to happen. We must learn how to deal with it and accept it and continue to live our best lives.
